Spring/Summer Engineering Internship

Job Status: 20-40 hrs/wk (to be determined based on workloads)

Description: Position entails assisting with day to day tasks on all aspects of work related to watershed management and aquatic ecology. Work will likely include field work (survey
assistance, site inspections, water quality and quantity monitoring, biological surveys),
assistance with hydrologic/hydraulic model development (HydroCad, StormNET, XPSWMM),
development reviews and data analysis (MS Excel, Access).

Education/Experience Requirements:
Enrollment in a BS or MS in civil, agricultural, geological, environmental or water
resources related engineering curriculum or related fields. GIS, natural resources and/or
hydrology experience is preferred.

Entry Level Engineer
(full-time)

Description: Position includes assisting senior staff with different aspects of water resources and civil engineering. Work may include field work (surveying, construction inspection,
monitoring) development reviews, data analysis (ArcGIS, MS Excel, Access), water
quality and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (HydroCAD, Autodesk SSA, PondNET, TR-
20, XP/PC/EPA-SWMM, SWAT, HSPF, P8), technical writing, AutoCad and Civil 3D
or other CADD-based civil design software.

Education/Experience Requirements:
BS in civil or water resources related engineering curriculum or related fields is required. Design and analysis of engineering projects, preparation of construction plans and specifications, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations is preferred.
