Natural Resource Assessment + Inventory
EOR completed a comprehensive analysis of the entire watershed district to identify sites and opportunities for projects related to the goals of the 2022-2031 Watershed Management Plan.
The inventory component consisted of a series of GIS analyses that identified sites for preservation and restoration for flood storage, water quality, and biodiversity preservation. The assessment component ranked selected sites using feasibility criteria that ranged from local land use and geomorphology to the number of landowners.
In completing our comprehensive analysis, EOR created a mobile app to aid data collection and generated a template for feasibility-level analysis of individual sites. These tools and analyses were proposed to district staff as a comprehensive list of potential projects.
