Marine Village Stormwater Improvements

Marine Village Stormwater Improvements

Mill stream weaves its way through this quaint town, feeding the historic mill site, before draining out into the St. Croix River right next to a popular swimming hole. EOR worked with the city and local watershed district staff to bring low impact stormwater improvements to the village in conjunction with a planned paving improvement project.

EOR landscape architects and engineers worked collaboratively to design practices that complimented the unique and historic character of the village. A custom stonework basin outlet was implemented which utilized local materials, craftsmanship, and architectural styling to create a sense of history in newly constructed piece of infrastructure.
