Windsong Farm Golf Course Expansion
Windsong Farm Golf Course Expansion
Windsong Farm Golf Club was interested in developing a second golf course on a site close to their existing course that would consist of an 18-hole golf course situated on former agricultural land, with numerous wetlands and a MN/DNR regulated waterbody, Fox Lake, that all drain to Pioneer Creek and eventually to Ox Yoke Lake.
Pioneer Creek is an impaired water body and has restrictions for total suspended solids and total phosphorus that the site needed to meet for both temporary and permanent drainage conditions. As such, this project required an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW), WCA, and USACE wetland permitting - all of which were completed by EOR. EOR also provided the local grading and drainage permits, as well as the stormwater management modeling and design.
